Until today, it remains unclear what really happened to Ateneo players Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili. To better understand the incident, we conducted our own research and analysis based on statements from the rescue team, fellow Ateneo players, Coach Tab Baldwin, and his wife, who both said that the tragedy could have been prevented.
